Andrew’s first time picking up the iron was in 2012 when he joined the FSU Weightlifting club. In 2014 he applied to the personal training program at the FSU Leach Center where he would later meet Gustavo. This set him on the path to learn as much as possible as a personal trainer. Andrew joined the Seriously Strong Training team in 2017 and quickly became an integral part of the crew.
Andrew is a competitive powerlifter and national qualifier in the 181lb weight class with a 1,289lb total. Andrew’s early work as a personal trainer put him in touch with a local chiropractor who asked Andrew to join his team as a rehab specialist/chiropractic assistant. These two experiences have made Andrew really good at two things: fixing people, and then making them incredibly strong with a great pair of legs.
Andrew grew up in the Tampa Bay area and graduated from Bishop Mclaughlin High School in 2012. He played varsity soccer all four years of high school before moving to Tallahassee to pursue a B.S. in Exercise Physiology. After graduation from FSU Andrew began full time work as a personal trainer & chiropractic assistant to gain experience in helping people while deciding where his future lies.
